Things that make you go ewww

 I’ve no doubt all you Gen Xers sang that title. I’m referring to “Things That Make You Go Hmm” by C + C Music Factory which was released in 1991. I’m not terribly impressed by the lyrics, but there’s no denying the catchiness of the tune.

Anyway, I was done with my shower today and tidying up for the next person. I reached for what I assumed was a hairball before I realized, “wait, those are… legs.” 

Apparently, my good friend Guillermo decided to hop in the shower with me. Guillermo is a house centipede. You know, the kind that looks like someone lost an eyebrow which is now running about.

I hopped into my towel and summoned Liam the Lionhearted to please rescue Guillermo. He does the Epic Teenage Eyeroll but pushes away from the table and gathers the typical required tools. He cups Guillermo and covers the cup as I hold the door open. He unceremoniously yeets Guillermo out the front door and life goes on.

 I should probably rent this manchild out to protect other innocents who are merely trying to take a shower without being accosted…

Ack! Sorry!

 I know better than to post whilst we are away from home, but we are back from the Outer Banks, school has begun, and I need some technical assistance in finding my photos, haha! A certain Thing kindly moved vacation pictures from my phone to some server somewhere for easy access and more space on my poor overloaded and un-back-up-able phone, but I forgot to mention that I don't know how to get there once I'm here. Shoulda waited until after I'd blogged. Such is life. It's coming, I promise! And I have two posts half ready and waiting in my Drafts folder, but I need to fact check first. No fake news here, people! Thanks for being patient. I hope to get content up soon!
