This post is mainly for Muggin... any idea who the cutie on the right is? We had only one a few years ago, and two last year, and now there are at least three or four of them. They have a few red feathers on their backs too and are just the cutest little guys! I don't know if they're a kind of sparrow or a cousin for a chickadee or what, but I'm glad they come to visit!

You have a purple finch! Do you put out finch feed? They may like it, if you want to give them a treat. Oh, I hope they mate near you so we can see pix of the babies!

I have these in my yard too! I LOVED watching them last summer and will miss seeing them when we move! They're adorable!
Put out thistle! They love it and you will attract gorgeous goldfinches too!!
