I don’t know what happened this month, but it seems I’ve blinked and missed it. Actually, I do- I was trying to keep afloat at school amidst Donuts for Dads, a trip to the apple orchard, hosting a visit from some assisted living residents who came to play with our class, among other situations.
Tomorrow and Friday we have conferences so the kids don’t come, but we have been counting the days of the month as we go and have little banners that read “no school” on the spots for the next two days. The kids have been squabbling over what the blue banner stands for, but they’re in complete agreement with the one who declared the yellow banner to be “Cheese Day.” So now you know what to celebrate this Friday.
