Mother-Daughter retreat



There was time for a mother-daughter prayer walk with stations spread all over camp. It was raining lightly, a little more than Oregon rain, but since it wasn't terribly cold we trudged all over and found all the stations. There were places for prayers of thanksgiving, prayers for our world, quiet and reflective places. It was a nice time to walk, just the two of us, and talk about things that we are maybe to rushed to discuss during the week.

We really got a kick out of their craft cabin. I took a million pictures in there because there was so much to see, but these are my favorites.
 
 


Apparently I was more distracted than usual while loading pictures, because the order is all messed up. The bottom picture is Carrie having an introspective moment in the craft cabin. Below, she was supposed to stare at herself in the mirror and reflect on her positive attributes. Clearly she can see her sense of humor in her reflection...
