We have one tulip! I’m not sure that I knew we had it. I think the bunnies get to it before it has a chance to bloom each year. I’m so pleased!
And I love the mix of the dead, scraggly leaves amidst the fresh, colorful growth of spring. Reminds me of that old song, “make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other’s gold.”
Springtime around here is amazing (once the snow is gone, haha) and I’m always delighted by the colors after a long, cold winter of white, black, grown, gray, and bleah.
