Lincoln Log fun

The kids got Lincoln Logs from Grandma Barb & Pap, so Dada had to show them how to use them. Never mind that Carrie's been playing with them at KidZone for years... ;)

We all also got new cars for Christmas. This green machine is mine.

And here's Liam's bananamobile in the boathouse of the waterfront property. =D

Santa came!

As surprised as he looks, Liam actually stacked those gifts himself. Hehe!

Triskal, wondering where her Christmas rawhide is hiding...

For Hinrew, along the lines of "my coconut is empty." It was the next to the last day of my coffee beans from the Kona Historical Society in Hawaii. Not bad that it made it a year! "We have to go back!" Hehehhee!

Christmas morning

Santa even brought some Rolos and Peppermint Patties for the pregnant woman! Isn't he the best? ;)

And Dee got some new long johns:

Opening gifts

I thought this laptop was going to be so cool, but it worked for one day! Gonna have to take it back to Kohl's and see what we can do about that.... *siiiiiigh*

They each got a flashlight from Grandmama. They've been the biggest hit so far, I think. I keep hearing, "we're off to Dark Places!"

Christmas shopping

One of our friends and neighbors, Stef, took the kids Christmas shopping for us at Wal-Mart. She said she took them through more than just the grocery section, but this is what the kids picked out FOR US with their money. The bottom picture is for you, Mar. ;)

Gator Golf

I found Gator Golf at Kohl's, and everyone's been having fun with that, too. You putt the golf balls into the gator's mouth, he swallows, and then uses his tail to tap it back to you. And of course, one of the putters and balls is YELLOW!

Weeeeeee!

Or rather, Wii! Dada got Mario Kart for the kids (ahem, for the KIDS) and you can see how much of our vacation has been spent cheering on the dune buggies, mopeds, and various critters in Mario world on the Wii. We are all having a ball! Good call, Sharon!

More posts & pictures tomorrow. I'm off to watch Gregory Peck in "To Kill A Mockingbird." Enjoy the lead-up to Christmas posts! =)

Merry Christmas from We4.5!

It's official. Our Christmas cards will be Valentines. But here's what you missed; this is us dressed up for the Christmas Eve service at church. Liam was thrilled with his vest and tie. "I look so CUTE!" Dee was considerably less enthused about her gorgeous, poufy dress. "It's not fair. YOU'RE not wearing a dress. Why do IIII have to!?" We all survived. Merry Christmas 2009!

Upgrade

Care Bear finally hit the 40 pound mark, and that meant an upgrade from car seat to booster seat. Here Dada removes Old Faithful:

Here beautiful queen Carrie surveys his work and grants approval of the new booster seat installation:

Something tells me she's a little bit excited. What do you think?

Sticker Power Boy! And Girl!

A friend who shall remain nameless (KAREN!) mailed the kids stickers in individual Christmas cards. Needless to say, we ended up finding them for days all over the furniture, clothes, the table, papers, and ... well, see for yourselves:

Super hero: Liam the Lion-Hearted

Dada tucked our bath mat into the back of Liam's jammies and he came down to show off his cape. He cracks me up!
