So this is a Ritz cracker. Hmmm... Posted by Picasa

Not too sure about this, Mama... Posted by Picasa

Mmmmm Ritz bliss Posted by Picasa

This one reminds me of ET and Elliott touching. Posted by Picasa

I made the eggs and the original smiles. She added all the embellishments! Pretty fun MagnaArt... thanks Me-noj! Posted by Picasa

Mike came over for dinner and played his harmonica! Not sure who was more excited about it, Triskal who cocked her head so sweetly, or Carrie who promptly asked for it. Posted by Picasa

She had an incredible time w/ the harmonica! Posted by Picasa

Liam has a great time w/ these balls. Alas, Triskal got the purple one last night and now it is no more. Wonder when Carrie will notice... Posted by Picasa

Rain day fun Posted by Picasa

Yippie, rain!

Rainy day today, yippie!!! I think you can tell what we're up to just by the photos. =) Figured, since we're all in various stages of colds anyway, why not play in the rain? Of course it stopped before we got out there and then started again once we went in. Oh well.

Yesterday Carrie apparently had her bum on her mind a lot. She was playing in the yard, fell over & said, "ohhhh. I hurt my bum. Oh, I'm okay!" And at dinner she passed an enormous amount of gas that had Dada and I looking at each other, trying not to giggle. He tips his Nalgene bottle her direction and says, "we who are about to die salute you." I had to leave the table. She says, "my bum just burped."

And Lisa already heard this one, but just to show all you other moms out there that you're not the only one losing it: I'm spinning through the lazy Susan, trying to find chicken noodle soup for lunch. I start spouting off about not having it when we need it when I slowly realize, not only was homemade chicken noodle soup on my menu list to make this week, I actually bought everything I needed for it last night. Paging my brain, has anyone seen my brain? *siiiiigh*

Looking forward to naps today, let me tell you! Have a great one!

As big as a chicken.

Carrie was watching new neighborhood puppies from the window & she tells me: They have big feet. Big, big, BIG! Like a chicken!

I have no explanation.

In other news, this is a much quieter week than last week. Here are some pictures of Grandmama's visit as well as the time "Dave Yano and Me-noj" spent with us. And I just realized I loaded the pictures backwards, again. The tub ones are from last night, visitors are from last week.

Don't forget to get the Christmas party weekend on your calendars- December 8-10 this year. I know this because I'm getting excited! I've started planning and lists and telling Carrie about it. She promptly yelled out the window to our friend Rita, "come on up my driveway! It's Christmas party time!" Eeeeeeeeeeeeeep. To which my either very brave or very crazy friend answered, "we can have some of your friends stay at our house if yours fills up. And I'll make spinach balls!" God bless you, sweetie =) So y'all heard that. Spinach balls are covered! ;) If anyone has a yummy squash soup recipe though, I'd appreciate it. Don't let that scare you. The other usuals will be there too. Meatball subs, spaghetti, ham, chicken noodle soup, sweet potato casserole, pancakes, homemade chocolate ice cream, and (of course) the cookies.

Now that you're all drooling, enjoy the pictures. Hehe! Byeeeeeeeeeee!

First bath together. Carrie chose one of those blue fizzies for the pretty water. Liam just loved it. He especially liked her toy fishies. Posted by Picasa

Rub-a-dub-dub! Two cuties in the tub! Posted by Picasa

I just liked this one. Posted by Picasa

Find the baby! Not with the toys. Chewing on the blanket's tag, of course! Posted by Picasa

New duds for Liam from a generous benefactor. Hehe! Aren't they sharp! Posted by Picasa

I know what you're thinking. "Awww, beautiful girl smelling a beautiful flower." Look closely at her neck and... Posted by Picasa

...just look at her face! She'd been playing in the dirt between our driveway and our neighbors'. She looked like a chimney sweep! Posted by Picasa

Carrie actually slept in two of Grandmama's curlers. This is her, first thing in the morning. Posted by Picasa

Grandmama and Liam. All those toys and of course he wants to teethe on a chair. Kids! Posted by Picasa

Busy week!

We have had a really busy week! Grandma Barb & aunt Julie got here on Sunday. We all went to Carrie's last ballet class on Monday and then I got to go by myself to the last step aerobics class that night. We went to the library on Tuesday so aunt Julie could compare Ohio libraries to Pennsylvania ones ;) Wednesday Julie and Grandma Barb both left and Grandmama came! We did the zoo yesterday. Tonight Manoj & Renner & Dada all come in. Busy, busy, busy! Grandmama will leave tomorrow and then Steph & Dave & their kids put in an appearance. What a crazy house! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Thanks Julio & Grandma Barb for keeping us company & for the presents! Hope your trips home went okey dokey!

Miss Melissa told them to walk around their beachballs (Great visual aids!) on their toes. Carrie looked like she was velcroed to the ball she was so close =) Posted by Picasa
