Happy Halloween and happy birthday to Lamb!

Hope everyone had fun Trick or Treating. We sure did. Twice yesterday, even! Carrie was a mummy and Liam wore her old cow costume. I was a farmer. We headed to Liam's girlfriend Nina's house and she was a duck! So we had a whole farm... and a stray mummy. Eh, what can you do? ;) Carrie kept telling people she wanted to be a beanhead. Now how exactly would one go about making a costume for that? This kid!

Liam's birthday was a busy one. We had Carrie's gymnastics, followed by a trip to Giant Eagle and then an early round of trick or treat (which he slept through on my shoulder like a sack of potatoes!). Then we had our breaks, dinner, got ready for the real deal, and off we went in the wagon. I somehow didn't get pictures of them in the wagon, but when she'd get out, he'd tip over so that he was laying down, facing the sky. Rita and I kept giggling about cow tipping. Hehe! Just too much fun. We sure love Halloween. And we have tons of candy left over. Whoohoo! I mean...

I still have CO pictures and our PA vacation pictures to blog, but here's 22 or so of yesterday and the past few days. I can't believe it is November already! And welcome to baby Asher Lucas, born to Wendy & Eric last week! Check out their The Olson Bunch site off to the left there and keep checking cuz they'll have baby pictures and big sibling pictures and all kinds of fun pictures coming! Yippie!

Carrie tries our patience, as always. The other night at dinner she was giving us grief about finishing her food (an every single meal occurrence, I swear!) until Dada finally told her point blank to eat her crackers. "They're not crackers. They're Wheat Thins," is what she reported to him. He completely cracked up (speaking of crackers) and she knew she had him: "oh, haha. You're waughing! You're not mad anymore. You're waughing!" Why God didn't instill free will until after the age of 21 is beyond me...

Liam still prefers his Army crawl but is doing some of the "big kid" crawling now too. He'll pull himself up on just about anything and is fascinated by the dog's bowls. Both of them. One of us is forever grabbing him before he gets to them, and if we're too late, he'll contentedly soak himself by splashing away. He must think he's part Newfie! Dada says he ate cat food as a kid, so maybe it's genetic. I tried dishwasher soap once. What does that say about me? Eep.

Anyway, have a marvelous week! I'll try to make November a month of more regular posts. Maybe I'll be caught up by Thanksgiving! Take good care and enjoy the fun of Fall =)
