Let It Snow!

We're getting SNOW! * * *** * *** ** * * **************************************** hehehehe

Grandmama is here to visit and she may or may not make it out of here tomorrow to head home. We have at least 4 inches now and are supposed to get 6-10 more. It looks like someone is shaking us hard, snowglobe style. Lots and lots of wind and fine, tiny, icy snow. Shoveling is a major pain in the you-know-where... have to shovel all the snow off the top and then backtrack to chip and chisel off all the ice that is under it. Look under "exercise in futility" in the encyclopedia... you'll see pictures of us bundled to the gills with our shovels!

Liam was watching us out the window, giving Grandmama a running commentary: "Dada stuck! (The driveway is brick-style, and you get hung up often on either the cracks in it or on the ice.) Uhhhhhhh, unhhhhhhh Dada stuck! Dada puuuuuuush." Then he'd laugh hilariously.

This morning he woke up and headed for his window. The storm has come from a different direction than usual and the kids' windows are all iced over. He tried and tried to scrape the ice off the screen on his window (of course it was on the outside, but he was determined to get it off so he could see outside). Grandmama was impressed with her genius two-year-old. ;)

Now he's making hats out of play-doh. He loves to say, "Hat!" and he says it almost falsetto, it's so high it's funny. So he's putting a blob of play-doh on his hair and announcing with glee, "hat!" Silly boy.

Carrie and Dada got to go to COSI last night with Lee and Nina. They had a ball with bubbles and science and sand and all that jazz. Sadly, our COSI is going to be closing- its levy didn't pass. I've never even been! =( I'm glad they got to go... thank you, Lee, for the invitation!

Gonna go do lunch. Will post more when I can remember all the funnies! Love you all! Have a good week and be safe in the ickiness.

Hehe, too late. It is 47 today so most of it is gone. Another storm coming though... you may get lucky yet! =D
