Whew! We worked super hard today out in the yard. Our grass & dandelions were just taking over, so Care Bear, Grandmama & I headed outside to clean up. Dada ended up taking over (and borrowing our neighbors' power lawn mower too- smart man!) and we got about 4 lawn bags filled w/ grass clippings, sticks, and helicopter seeds. She had a wonderful time watching everyone mowing and raking. She really, really wanted to help throw grass clippings into those big bags... they're taller than she is! Now our yard is just beautiful. Grandmama is really earning her keep on this visit! Hehe!
We met Dada for lunch at Pizza Hut today after we'd visited the library, Dunkin' Donuts, the post office and the park. Here's hoping she sleeps tonight- we're all beat! Looking forward to a warm, beautiful day tomorrow so I can finally get some flower seeds into the ground & transplant my two small tomato plants. Anyone want to rent Carrie out as a gardening helper? She's good at moving dirt around although she takes off w/ all the tools! Have a great night. Pictures later!
