Decided to give the poor folks at Noggin a break & let Care Bear enjoy some play doh the other day. She played for 45 minutes! We got out some cookie cutters and had a good time smashing the play doh and smooshing it. Check out her yellow "worm"... I got her started and she was very uniform in where she made her indentations. Hehe. Must be the engineer in her...
She's discovered that the pantry door doesn't have a child-proof lock, so she's been swinging it open & investigating the contents. She really enjoys shaking the Rice a Roni boxes! Right now she's watching Oobi and Kako pull the bottom orange out of a pyramid display in a fruit store. Hope she's not getting any ideas....
Her cough & icky nose seem much better today. After trying allergy Benadryl to not much success, we switched to Dimetapp and it worked wonders last night. The best part was that she LIKED it and we didn't have to put her in a headlock to get it into her. The box says it'll treat everything she's experiencing too, so I don't even feel guilty about using it! Hurrah! (Sorry, am in the middle of reading the second Bridget Jones- guess she's rubbing off on me).
We leave Saturday for Oregon for a week! Can't wait! We did buy Carrie her own seat on the plane, so keep your fingers crossed that she's a good flier. Could be a LONG trip otherwise. We can't wait to see her play w/ Madeleine for a week & I'm looking forward to snuggling baby Christian. I'll be sure to post tons of pictures when we return. Suppose I should pack...!
