Ooh, how exciting! Just looked at the calendar & it says tomorrow is the first day of Spring! Now that's some good news! Carrie is all dressed & ready for the day... she's guzzling OJ while watching Maisy on Noggin, so I'm hoping to get a post in right now. I'm behind!
Last night she had a go-gurt mishap and ended up needing a bath. She had it EVERYWHERE. I laughed until I cried- the second night in a row! Thursday night during small group, she & Derek were sticking balls inside their clothes. He put her small basketball into the back of her pants and she couldn't figure out how to get it for the life of her. She looked so funny w/ this big bubble butt sticking out... we were all just about in tears. About half of us were! She has no idea how funny she is. Sorry I didn't get pictures of that... man...
Back to Oregon!
I've lost track of what day we did what. We did visit a restaurant some of you love, called Chipotle. She was stealing big bites out of my burrito fajita. Talk about a burrito as big as your head! Never did finish that thing, though Wendy & I both had meals out of it. Crazy! Here are some shots of Carrie & Madeleine playing w/ various toys. The one they're sitting on is one of those disks that spins when you move your hands around the inner circle. She figured it out right away, and was thrilled to discover that it played 4 different songs too. So later she wouldn't bother getting on it, she'd just turn on the music & move on to whatever else she was doing.
One of the days Scott & Eric took the girls to a park down the road. Apparently Care Bear absolutely loved the kiddie swings, which until recently she'd not been very fond of. She'd tolerate it for awhile but then would get very agitated. Scott said she loved them and the slide!
